Alexis Taft

Biography

Alexis Taft (she/her/hers) joined Bielski Chapman as a paralegal in August, 2021, and works closely with the attorneys to assist with the administration of guardianships and probate. 

Prior to joining the firm, Alexis was a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she studied political science and was the first in her family to graduate from college. She aspires to go to law school and has special interests in environmental, immigration, and employment law. 

Alexis is an expert in probate matters, and assists our clients with all of their probate questions.  She is adept at handling all types of matters that arise in probate cases.   

Alexis and SJ are both movie lovers, and on breaks from work they can be found sharing their opinions with each other on new movies. 

In her spare time, Alexis enjoys exploring Chicago on foot while appreciating the food, culture, people, and scenery. She also finds contentment in staying home with a good book and a hot cup of tea, cuddled up with her senior-aged cats.
