Deborah Martinez
Biography
Deborah Martinez graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2006, and, Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2003 with a B.A. She passed the New York State bar in 2009, and the Illinois State bar in 2010. She is licensed in both States.
She has been litigating in and around the Chicagoland area since 2010; she launched her solo practice in 2014, with a concentration in: foreclosure defense, real estate transactions and building code violations. She has been of counsel with Bielski Chapman, LTD since March 2024.
Her clients revere her for her willingness to listen and work over and above their expectations for any matter.
Ms. Martinez is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA), the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, as well as a member of multiple networking groups. Ms. Martinez was an adjunct instructor specializing in Sports Law; she helped to spearhead the addition of a Sports Law Concentration for the Master’s Program at Robert Morris University in Chicago. In her spare time, she volunteers and gives back to the community!
